My art is a journey through the lens of cubism, reflecting my deep-seated passion for painting and creating. From a young age, I have been captivated by the power of visual expression, and this fascination has led me to explore and push beyond cubist principles.
My process at its core is instinctive. Each piece invites viewers to experience familiarity in landscapes and objects from multiple perspectives.
Katie is a Calgary-based artist whose roots stretch across Alberta, with many of her formative years spent in Red Deer.
A self-taught painter, she has always approached art intuitively, creating for the simple joy of exploration and expression. Katie earned a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge and built her career in media and marketing consulting. She continues to collaborate on select projects close to her heart, with a particular passion for supporting creatives and entrepreneurs.
Through her work, Katie invites viewers into moments of reflection, curiosity, and connection. Guided by instinct rather than prescription, her practice explores the paradox of nostalgia and the power of presence—examining how memory, emotion, and lived experience shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
